Socials
Socials in the sidebar is where the business writes posts: news, offers, finished jobs, photos. Posts go to the blog on your centralOS website, which keeps the site fresh for customers and search engines.
Before the first post
- The website must be published. Until it is, Social Accounts shows Open Website & Socials... instead of somewhere to post.
- The website needs a page showing the Socials feed. Ask the Website agent for a blog page with the Socials feed, then publish. Website has the steps.
Write and publish a post
- Open Socials.
- Write the post under Message.
- Optional: paste a web address under Link, and press Add images for photos.
- Under Social Accounts, tick your website.
- Press Publish, or Save draft to finish it later.
Published posts are listed under Posts, newest first. A draft there has its own Publish button. Click a post to open and change it.
centralAgent can write a post for you, such as "write a post about the deck we just finished, with these photos". It asks before publishing.
Replies from visitors
Visitors can reply to a post on the website. Replies come to Enquiries privately and aren't shown on the site. Enquiries covers answering them.
Website insights
Once the website is published, Website insights at the top of Socials shows how many people visited the website, by day, and its most visited pages.
The business profile
The top of Socials shows the business's logo, banner and details. Edit profile opens Settings > Website & Socials to change them.
