Enquiries

Enquiries captures all incoming web enquiries for your business. Each enquiry is a conversation: the first message plus every reply and note after it.

Enquiries arrive from:

  • The contact form on your centralOS website.
  • The booking form on your website, with the time the visitor picked under Suggested meeting time.
  • Replies visitors send to a post on the website's blog.
  • Adding one by hand with +, such as after a phone call.

The team gets a notification for each new enquiry.

Get enquiries from the website

The website needs a contact page with an enquiry form. Ask the Website agent to add one, then publish. Website has the steps, including booking forms.

Reply to an enquiry

  1. Open Enquiries and click the enquiry.
  2. Under Conversation, choose Email to write to them. Their reply comes back into the same conversation.
  3. Type the message and press Send.

Choose Note and press Add note to leave a note for the team that the enquirer never sees, such as "called back, wants a quote for Friday".

Save the enquirer as a contact

Press Create contact on the enquiry. It becomes Open contact, which goes to their contact page. Their details are then available everywhere in centralOS, such as when making a sale.

Turn an enquiry into a quote or project

  1. Save them as a contact first.
  2. Create the quote in Invoices (Invoices has the steps) or a project in Projects, and choose the contact.

centralAgent can do this for you, such as "make a quote for this enquiry" or "start a project for this enquiry". It can also put a booking's suggested time into the calendar.

Block spam

Press Block on an enquiry and confirm. Form submissions, emails, comments and messages from that person stop arriving in Enquiries, without notifications. Their emails still reach the Email inbox.
