Step-by-step help for everything in centralOS, from sending your first invoice to publishing your website.

Automation

• centralAgent

  centralAgent is the assistant built into centralOS.

• Meeting recorder and phone app

  The centralOS app for iPhone has the same account and centralAgent as the web, plus a meeting recorder. It also works with Siri and the Apple Watch.

Marketing

• Domains

  A domain is the name people type to find a business online, such as acmeplumbing.com.au.

• Email

  centralOS has its own email. Each person in the business has an email address, shown at the top right of the Email page, and email sent to it arrives there.

• Enquiries

  Enquiries in the sidebar collects people asking about the business, so none get lost in an inbox.

• Socials

  Socials in the sidebar is where the business writes posts: news, offers, finished jobs, photos.

• Website

  Website in the sidebar is where the business's website is made.

Sales

• Compliance

  Compliance keeps the business's licences, insurance policies, permits, certifications and inductions in one place, with their expiry dates, so nothing lapses without anyone noticing.

• Invoices

  The Invoices page holds every sale and purchase.

• Projects

  A project keeps everything for one job in one place: the client, quotes and invoices, emails, notes, files, appointments and a whiteboard.

Banking

• GST and BAS

  A business registered for GST reports it to the ATO on a BAS, usually every quarter.

• Money

  centralOS keeps the business's books from its bank statements. You add your bank accounts, import each statement, then say what every transaction was for.

Schedule

• Calendar and tasks

  Calendar shows appointments and events by week or month. Tasks is the to-do list.

Workspace

• Contacts

  Contacts holds every customer, supplier and person the business deals with.

• Files

  Files in the sidebar holds the business's documents and photos, such as contracts, plans, site photos and receipts.

• Notes and whiteboards

  Notes is for anything written down: site notes, meeting notes, ideas, checklists. Whiteboards are for drawing: sketches, layouts, plans and brainstorms.

• Templates

  A template is the design for a document or email that centralOS fills in with real details, such as the customer's name, the sale's line items and the business's bank account.

Account

• Account and plan

  Everything about the plan is in Settings > Plan & Usage. Only the business's owner can change the plan.

• Sidebar

  Show, hide, pin, rename and reorder the pages in the centralOS sidebar.

• Team and security

  Invite your team, choose their roles, and keep sign-in safe with two-factor authentication and passkeys.
